when i tempt to run  the  thunder installer its either   the system log me out completely  or  log me under another user account.

Do you think this has something to do with  my index.php  ? or  theme/default/proc.inc.php

Could be the reason.. since you have installed many modules.. I suspect session issue at your site as I remember you have mentioned the same issue last time.
