Is there anyone ANYWHERE that's giving support to the core?

I've got problems and from the looks of their forums they haven't answered one users questions since March 2008. And I'm having the same problems that everyone else is having

First, my Admin name is appearing everywhere that the users name should appear

Second, my Admin default photo appears in all the users profiles as the default photo

Third, a user (including Admin) can view their own desktop, but when they try to view a friends desktop they get the header and footer, with a white space in the middle.

Fourth, and this one came up last night. I made a change to a link in the admin frame.tpl. It saved properly but now shows the entire frame within the frame. In the space wher eit should be showing the list of tpl files it shows the entire screen (admin tools) and the original of the template I modified. None of the links in admin tools work. I download the frame.tpl file and checked it on my computer and it did change. BUt the entire admin section is stuck showing the old frame, and the old frame code. as well as the new frame.

I'm running the default install and template. I have very few mods (I only started the site a few days ago). I hd no problems in the back end until I changed a link location yesterday in the fame.tpl

Hi Phasar,

As you mentioned that you have installed few modules, which maybe the answer of your problmes, since not all the modules/hacks available at http://online.phpizabi.net are properly done.
Try to uninstall some of the mouldes/hacks and check if you still have the same problem.

Most of the problems were caused by the "dont block admin" hack.

Once I removed that, most of them disappeared.

However, when I looked at one of the templates (desktop.tpl) I noticed that my admin username is actually hard coded into the script.

I certainly didn't do this, and I'm thinking it was done during the install. What code can I replace it with to show the users own name?

I still have the problem with frame.tpl. To fix it I did the 3 hotfixes from the .net site. But that just gave me back the original frame.tpl without the mods. I tried to upload the backup copy of frame.tpl, but it just does the same things again. To get around it I've had to hotlink the scripts in my browser and not try to edit frame.tpl.

So i had to transfer my site to a different host so now that i have to re istall the script it gets stock on step 6...everything works great till i get to that step, i talked to the host but they can only tell me that the mysql dadabase works great from their end, and to get in contact to the support for the script.
 Im hopping i can find some answers here because phpizabi has no support available

Hi Octi,

What module are you trying to install?
